INTRODUCING OUR BAND MEMBERS
Dave Beetham, Murray Adams, Scott McCarthy, Rob VanBuskirk and Steve Baric have collectively performed for a wide range of audiences all over North America!
Dave Beetham
A retired business owner from Whitby has been a fixture in C.V.B. since its inception in 2005!
Before Cruisin got its start,Dave performed across North America in various acappella groups since the late 70's. He has combined his vocal prowess to also become the rhythm guitarist in this great 5-man ensemble! Dave has also managed C.V.B. since the beginning!
Murray Adams
Murray,a retired school teacher, has been involved with music his entire life. He sang with vocal group, Acappella,for more than 20 years before becoming a founding member of CVB in 2005. In addition to singing and playing drums with the band, he arranges and records music at his studio on the shores of Lake Simcoe.
Scott McCarthy
Scott is a Director of Canada for a Franchise Consulting Company and has sung in Vocal Harmony groups since the age of 16.
Rob VanBuskirk
When he is not playing great music with CVB, Rob is an operations manager for a major dairy processing plant in Toronto. He is married with two adult children and lives in Innisfil, Ontario but was born and raised in Halifax,Nova Scotia.He has been involved in many different areas of music since his early childhood,and is now singing and playing bass in CVB.Rob has been a member of CVB since 2021.
Steve Baric
A lifelong musician from Whitby,Steve has been part of CVB since 2024. With over 35 years of professional experience as a guitarist and a background in piano performance,composition,and choir directing,he has performed in a wide range of musical settings,from classical stages to rock clubs. Alongside his role as lead guitarist,Steve also operates a guitar repair and setup shop, helping players get the most from their instruments. His broad musical foundation and adaptability have helped CVB expand its repertoire and explore new directions in sound.
